The goal of Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department Inc. is to provide professional service to the residents of our community on a daily basis, these residents desire and deserve the best protection and we are obligated to give them this in the most professional manner therefore the appearance policy will be enforced immediately.

All personnel will present themselves in a professional manner at all fire department functions. (Ex. Hugging up to or publicly kissing girlfriends and sitting "piled up") will not be tolerated. Take it home!

Body jewelry

The use of visible Body Jewelry (tongues, navels etc.) by any male or female with the exclusion of females with ear piercings will not be tolerated while any member of this department is wearing any uniform, hat or shirt that depicts the name of the department. What you do on your own time is your business except when you deface the name of the department.

Tattoos

In order to keep with the professional appearance tattoos must be covered while at any fire department activity or while at the station.

All members are expected to adhere to these guidelines at all fire department events and at any time stated in these rules.

Any member who blatantly does not adhere to these rules will be warned first then if it occurs again dismissed by the Chief.
